Why the Caffeinated Church Conference is the Jolt You’ve Been Craving

If you’ve ever thought continuing education just wasn’t built for people like you—too expensive, too removed from the real work of church life, too…much, then we want you to know: this is different.

The Caffeinated Church Conference is built for everyday ministry leaders: staff, clergy, volunteers, communicators, administrators, and everyone with a “do it all” job description. We’ve packed this conference with practical workshops, meaningful community, and a price point that doesn’t require a major line item in your budget.

What’s Brewing at the Conference?

  • 18 hands-on workshops that speak directly to your work: communication strategy, AI tools, volunteer wrangling, church admin hacks, digital evangelism, and real-world leadership tips.

  • Daily coffee (or tea!)-fueled connections with other leaders who get stuff done — and “get it.”

  • A special evening reception and concert at the historic Margaret Mitchell House, featuring award-winning drag gospel-folk artist, Flamy Grant. Yes, seriously. And yes, you’ll love it! We promise.

It’s Surprisingly Affordable!

  • Registration: $400 (To serve and support our small churches, registration is only $300 if you represent a church with an average Sunday attendance of <100)

  • Hotel: $129/night at the Crowne Plaza Midtown Atlanta

  • Flights: Atlanta is a major hub, meaning more direct flights and better fares.

What is Caffeinated Church?!

Caffeinated Church is a dedicated space for parish administrators, communicators, lay leaders, and church staff to find thoughtfully curated resources and opportunities to grow in all aspects of parish communications and administration. Originally created by the Episcopal Church in Colorado, this platform arose from a desire to share insights and foster collaboration across the broader Church, ecumenically. Here, we believe that ministry is enriched when ideas and resources flow freely across denominational lines.

We understand the unique communication challenges of mainline churches, and our mission is to provide a relevant, vibrant hub that empowers leaders like you. Caffeinated Church thrives on the wisdom and contributions of diverse synods, conferences, dioceses, and partners, bringing together tools and perspectives for communications and administration and beyond.

At Caffeinated Church, we know that ministry is more than a calling—it’s a labor of love. Every email, bulletin, social post, and announcement reflects your commitment to building up the Church and connecting with your community in meaningful ways. We’re here to support you in nurturing that passion, equipping you with the resources you need to serve confidently and joyfully. Together, let’s keep inspiring one another to love and grow in our ministries, knowing that each step we take uplifts the Church and the people we serve.

We’re glad you’re here! Together, let’s continue to build a community of sharing and collaboration that uplifts the whole Church.

Our Ministry is to support your ministry

Caffeinated Church is designed by church communicators for church communicators as a place to go for resources, idea-sharing, collaboration, and training. Here we curate resources for all areas of our communications ministry and beyond.

Our goal is to seek excellence and creativity together in marketing, promotion, and communication with the end result of changed lives through the sharing of the Good News.

As a Diocesan Communicator, Caffeinated Church is a vital part of the ministry provided to communicators in The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta. In partnership with Caffeinated Church, we are able to offer many trainings that simply wouldn’t be possible. Diocesan Communicators wear many hats, and as a person responsible for resourcing many communicators Caffeinated Church allows me to focus my energy in all the right areas because I know key areas like a communications resource bank, best practices, and new and innovative trainings are covered.

To all Diocesan Communicators, I would encourage you to partner with Caffeinated Church. It gives you the ability to work smarter. In my years serving my diocese, I only receive incredible thanksgivings from our people for making this resource available at a discounted rate.

— Canon Easton Davis, Canon for Communications & Digital Evangelism, The Episcopal Diocese of Atlanta

Caffeinated Church has been and continues to be a valuable resource not only for our parish-level communications staff, but also for parish administrators and clergy. With a monthly offering of workshops, peer group meetings, and articles, Caffeinated Church responds to both seasonal, routine needs of the church as well as pressing singular needs. We have expanded our offering of Caffeinated Church as engagement with the platform has grown and continue to provide it to our local leadership as a diocesan benefit. We see Caffeinated Church as a wise investment in the continued professional networking and development of our parish leadership.
