Podcasting 101

Presenter: Easton Davis

Podcasting continues to thrive and in the United States growth is up 10% from 2020 to 2021 with over 117 million downloads per month (according to Insider Intelligence). And that makes sense. Podcasts are a great way to meet people in a space where they don't have to be looking at or reading something. They can simply listen. In the world of ministry, podcasting can be a way to share stories of faith and even be a teaching tool. In this workshop, we do a full podcast walkthrough from recording, to editing, to hosting sites. These are the broad strokes, but in the details we dive into gear, recording remotely, and how to make the perfect template to work smarter and not harder. Your presenter is Easton Davis. Easton serves as Canon for Communications and Digital Evangelism in the Diocese of Atlanta and is the producer of For People with Bishop Rob Wright and A Brave Space with Dr. Catherine Meeks.
